Luca Mayer

INSPIRATION / Truck enthusiast / Skateboarder + BMXer

Luca’s passion for trucks was the reason his parents chose to purchase a semi. The 18-wheeler, which they christened “Big Mama,” is used by their family as a source of inspiration and learning for their son, and now, for children everywhere. Luca was born with a cleft palate, and many surgeries were endured from ages one to six to repair his palate and support his speech development. His deep connection to trucks provided inspiration and motivation to persevere in the face of a challenge. Keep on Truckin’ became the family’s mantra to encourage Luca to never give up. Luca’s confidence and determination have led him to be a sponsored skateboarder with Shut Skates NYC (since the age of three), and he also loves to ride BMX. Luca718 is his streetwear line - 718 is the area code for Brooklyn, where Luca was born and raised. Check out his pop-up shop in the back... Luca’s passions continue to inspire his parents, and the next steps they all take with Blocks, Trucks + Art.
